How to get repairs on a product under warranty from Ebay.
I purchased a LG 40" ultrawide monitor, that is under warranty. The speakers are no longer working. LG tech support tried debugging and asked that I call the seller [Ebay]. I have surfed the ebay site and I fail to find a way for me to get my problem through the portal.
Can someone help.

When you received the monitor, did you register the item with the manufacture so the warranty would start?

Ebay has a 30 day Money Back Guarantee, NOT a warranty.
Ebay is NOT your seller. You purchased the item from a seller that sold the item on the Ebay website.

Totally understand ebay has 30 day return policy. I am not looking for return, but I want to get my monitor repaired because it is still under manufacturer warranty.
How do I contact the seller [in my case "arkdeals"]. Can ebay offer me their contact information?

Mentor2 years agoGo to your Purchase history. Locate the transaction, and click on CONTACT SELLER to send the seller a message.

Mentor2 years agoJust who is it under warranty with? There is no warranty on most items sold on eBay. Any warranty service would have to come from LG , not the seller. If it's been less than 30 days since it was delivered, you can file an item not as described case with eBay. If you paid by credit card, some cover you for a year.
Sounds like LG won't honor the warranty.

·2 years agoThat is exactly how i interpreted the post. I find it hard to believe the manufacture did not state tell them that unless they were on a community chat board like this for LG. (possibly)

·2 years agoeBay sellers do not provide warranties. Warranties are provided by manufacturers, and for the warranty to be valid the seller must be an authorized retailer - most sellers on eBay are not authorized retailers.
However, if it has been 30 days or less since your purchase was delivered, then you can return the item to the seller.
