How to get reimbursed for lost shipment that I had to refund.
Sent a package to Hawaii from Florida using Fedex Ground Economy. Did not know they work with post office for these shipments. After 7 days it made it to California then nothing. After 6 weeks I had to refund buyer because they were leaving island. How do I get reimbursed? FedEx blames post office and vice versa. Help! P. S. After 7 weeks got notified the item was delivered.

I'm not sure if you can be refunded because the package was delivered. I think your best bet would be to try contacting the buyer, let them know the item was delivered after they left the island. Ask if they were staying at an air b&b or condo, Then ask if they will call the owner or condo office and have them return the package, if you send them a return USPS shipping label?
