How to get registered as a seller???
I'm having quite a bit of difficulty getting registered so I can sell on ebay.. I already have an estabished account (since 2003) and I've sold items in the past, but it's been quite a while ago, so now I'm finding that I can't offfer free shipping unless I'm registered as a seller.. I chatted with an ebay rep that sent me a link to send in to start the registration process, but the 24 hour response time I was told I could expect has turned out to be a 7-day wait, and I'M STILL WAITING??.. I'm a private/individual seller that has items that I no longer need or want, so like millions of other private sellers on ebay, I want to make them available for purchase.. I have many items packed and ready to ship but all of these potential listings are locked up in my drafts as I wait for this so-called registration process to hit my inbox so I can get started..
Any helpful hints, suggestions, or links, to help me get registered would be greatly appreciated!.. lol

OP3 years agoI've been linked via PayPal for as long as PayPal's been, but I think that's more for buying.. The Rep I chatted with gave me a link that asked some brief Q's and one of the boxes I checked was regarding the managed payments.. I sent that in and was told by the Rep that I'd receive a response in 24 hours, but May 27th and still no sign of anything from ebay..

Mentor3 years agoPayPal is no longer used for payments, only for purchases. You must sign up for Managed Payments before you can sell. If you start a new listing, you will be prompted to do this.
