How to get my refund?

I did send back the item to the seller and he did get it.. I asked the seller about my refund..he said eBay holds my money and let me contact eBay..so I want to know what is my next step to going?

Did you file a Returns Request, the seller sent you a ship[ping label, and the tracking shows Delivered back to the seller? If so, the seller has 2 days to refund you. If no refund, go back to the case and click Ask ebay to step in, when it shows up, to force the refund.
