How to get help
I purchased an item, received it was damaged, it fixable. Contacted seller they apologized said would refund, never did so started a return seller accepted but never sent a shipping label, in my email it said if I haven’t heard by January 2 could ask eBay to step in and help, but how the heck do I do that, all I’m getting is articles and the automated keeps saying the same thing, to ask for help if haven’t heard from seller.

Mentor7 months agoYou may be trying to early. Sometimes eBay goes by the time and date as well as just date.
Try checking later today or even tomorrow to see if the ask eBay to step in appears.

In your purchase history you should see a Returns header, if not go to your my ebay page and look for it. Once you find it click on it to open the dispute and in it you will see an Ask ebay to step in button. click on it, and a refund will be authorized within a few days but it could take 3-5 days for it to show up in your payment method. If you used a credit card to pay, it may not show up on its statement for up to 30 days, but you can call the CS number on the back of the card after a few days to see if a credit is being processed.
