How to get an order canceled within 1 hour

Hello,

So I placed an eBay order and then later realized that this seller looks less than legit and I don't want the item. So I submitted a cancellation with eBay within 1 hour of placing the order. I have no response from eBay or the seller. I know that the seller is just going to ship the item and refuse my cancellation. Has anyone been successful in stopping this?

Hi @hwilkey79

Only the Seller can cancel. If they do not ship then wait one day past the original estimated delivery date and file a claim that you did not receive the item, follow the claim instructions to an eventual refund.

If they do ship wait to see what you get ... if it is not what you purchased you can return it for a refund.
