How to get a refund on a return shipping label

Hello. I recently had a return requested for an item I sold. I accepted the return and sent the buyer a return shipping label at my expense. The required wait time (to recieve the returned item) expired, and eBay ended the case as the buyer never returned the item to me. My question is, since I sent the buyer a pre-psid shipping label, at my expense, how can I know cancel that shipping label and get a refund for it. I tried everything through this site and the USPS site, and can't seem to find out how to do it. It was initially done (return label) through eBay. Thanks!

If you sent the label through the case then you are not charged for it until it is used.
