How to get a payment hold off my account so I can get paid

Question

Ebay put a hold on my account as they needed some info from me. I provided it, but they continue to have a hold until the buyer receives the item.

I find this ridiculous and I cannot find any way around it or any way to talk to a real person about it.

I called Ebay help and they hung up on me because they couldn't connect me with a real person.

I sold a lot of ebay years ago but not recently. This is horrid customer handling and service.

I want to get paid BEFORE I ship the item. This seems to be impossible with Ebay now. Any solutions out there?

Ebay will not process your payout from the sale until the item has been delivered to the buyer.

If you were notified that the buyer has paid, you will need to ship the item. When the item is delivered to the buyer. your payout from Ebay will be processed.

New/infrequent/returning sellers can have their payout from Ebay held for up to 31 days.

Hi @laurelpaints

Your account is considered a low activity account and considering that you sold one item in the last 90 days your funds may be on hold for up to 31 days. You also have only one item for sale as of this writing. While your account dates back to 2002 you only have a total of 209 sold items.

I am sure youalready know that part of selling is a numbers game and the more you list the more chance you have that something will sell. Increasing sales will cut down on payment holds is pretty much how it works.

Oh, they also said they called me and my phone didn't answer, but I was sitting right there waiting for them to call.
