How to find newer account and change the forgotten pass word.

Question

last night I updated my computer...guess what...when I attempted to log into my eBay account it failed...so I attempted to manually signing in...but could not remember my pass word...so I typed in an old one and eBay opened showing purchases made years ago...it was a past account....I need to get into my current account....but I can't remember the current pass word......I need to find that newer account and then find out how to establish a pass word that will work.....and not get the old account...

Sign out of your old account, then sign back in to the newer one.

If you do not remember your eBay username, try using the email address associated with that eBay account as your username. If you have a social media account linked to that eBay account, make sure you are signed in to the correct social media account and try choosing that on the sign-in page.

If you use your phone to access eBay, see if you can find your eBay account username that way.

Once you know your username, you should be able to reset your password or get a temporary password to sign in.
