HOW TO FILE A DAMAGE CLAIM WITH EBAY GENERATED UPS LABELS .
I had a package damaged severly in March and after hours on the computer trying to file a claim was impossible because i shipped through platform.. So after calling UPS 9 times in a matter of 3 weeks. The results were HORRIBLE ! First I sent pics they closed the case said pics were inconclusive. Called back they reopened the case said they would do a inspection at the buyers address, 2 days later I got a message case was closed said unable to retreive package (it was a business thats open from 8 to 5) I call back case was reopened for an inspection 3 days later case was closed again they never inspected the package. I called back they reopened the case said they would go to the buyer pickup package and do an inspection. 5 days later got a message my lost package was found and was due to delivered to me in 3 days. I talked to the buyer he said they came, he showed them the damaged item and the 3 inch hole in the bottom of the box . They taped the hole shut and sent it back to me . Now mind this was a 200.00 item . I called them back they said sent us some pics I sent 15 pics, and called them back to make sure they got them. now they say its an invalid tracking number an they cant help me. So why am I paying for extra insurance thats not there
I have been selling on ebay for 25 years . I have had more items damaged in the last two months than I had in the last 3 years
