How to eliminate the showing of specified delivery dates in my listings.
When I sell things like perfume (hazmat) the USPS requires it be declared. Hazmat surface only deliveries can take a long time due to the handling regulations. -Sometimes up to 10 days delayed. As a seller, is there a way to eliminate the specific delivery range from my listings?

OP9 months agoOkay. That's not what I wanted to hear! LOL 😂
I guess I could add the info into the listing desctiption (that there may be a delivery delay) .
Thank you for your help!

Sorry. As the Rolling Stones advised us...
You can't always get what you want
But if you try sometime you'll find
You get what you need
😀
I wouldn't put that note in my description. If I did anything, it would be to add handling time is this is truly a problem and not an anomaly. How many of the last 20 perfume items were late and can you be sure that wasn't due to the Christmas volume of mail that slows things down every year? (Even during the holidays, I didn't have any late arrivals this year.)

No, there is no way to hide the estimated delivery date. When you choose the carrier and class of service, eBay will add that to your handling time to provide an estimated delivery date. So ground service will have a longer transit time than Priority and that is reflected in the estimate.
You could add handling time to extend the dates, but I wouldn't do that. 99%+ of my shipments arrive on time.
