How to edit a submitted tracking number?

Question

I accidentally put in an incorrect tracking number for my buyer. How can I go in and edit the tracking number after I have already submitted it?

- Go to the Sold section of My eBay. https://www.ebay.com/mys/sold

- Click "Edit tracking"

If you can't edit the existing number

- Click "+ additional tracking number"

- Add the actual tracking number and the carrier.

- Click "Save and Continue"

If the first number was an eBay label, you should cancel the first label to get a refund.
