How to dispute counterfeit item policy
Purchased an aftermarket auto part on eBay with a brand logo. Turned out it didn't fit my car, too late to return. Went to relist it for sale on eBay, the listing was removed based on counterfeit item policy.
There are literally dozens of listings active at the moment for the same aftermarket part with brand logo. Why are those listings allowed and mine is not?

Mentor2 years agoYou just got caught. Use the report button on the other listings, but only the name brand rights owner can have ebay immediately remove and item. It is illegal to sell counterfeits, do not try and relist it again.
Open a Return Request for an ITEM NOT AS DESCRIBED, counterfeit. Seller will pay for the return, if he wants it back, and/or refund. If no response by the fourth day, go back and ask ebay to step in. Do not close or let the case expire without doing this, if not resolved.
