How to dispute an adjusted shipping fee
I received notification that an item I sold and shipped with FedEx is being adjusted due to the package weight, now charging me double. The adjustment says that the "label" that eBay provided me was for 32 oz. The actual weight was 2 pounds (lbs). I'm sorry, did I miss something? 32 oz = 2 lbs. How do I dispute this?

Mentor2 years agoThis is a known issue. eBay was made aware on March 27, that Fedex was charging incorrectly for labels. The issue has continued and there is an open ticket so eBay is working on fixing this. eBay will contact you regarding any adjustments to your Fedex charges.

OP2 years agoI did see a message about a known issue, but on that notice, eBay states that refunds will be issued (which implies that sellers were being overcharged). However, my message states that they are charging my credit card an additional amount, which essentially doubles my shipping rate and means that my buyer did not pay enough in shipping. If this was an error on my part, I would understand, but my dimensions and weight were entered correctly and this is clearly an error on FedEx's part.
