how to delay shipping for a customer who is out of town?

A customer has asked if I can delay shipping as he is a truck driver and is out on the road and does not want package to arrive when he is gone. How do I do this without it hurting my shipping times?

I would let them know that eBay requires that you ship on time according to your listing and ask if they want to cancel. You cannot delay shipping without a negative impact to your account.

Don't let the Buyer convince you that every other Seller on eBay does this for them.

It's really up to them to make other arrangements for their packages when they are out of town.
