How to deal with shady seller
Purchased used AirPods. Listing stated 'no returns', but it was represented as excellent condition and NOT 'as is'. AirPod did not work, and Apple support said it was either defective or previous owner had not released it from prior pairing and there was nothing that could be done without that step having been taken. Contacted seller. Response was essentially 'I don't know what to do about it - the person I got it from told me it was good to go'. In other words, 'sorry, Charlie!"
Any reasonable person would understand that an item is going to work at the time of purchase. Who would sell something knowing it is unable to be used?
In any event, do I have a reasonable gripe here? And how do I go about reaching someone at eBay about this seller?

If you receive an item that does not match the description, file a "not as described" return and return the item at the seller's expense. The process is automated; if the seller does not cooperate at any point, ask eBay to step in after three business days.
