How to correct feedback from a buyer that is incorrect and dishonest. eBay not helping at all
I sold a TV on eBay to a buyer who said it was the wrong remote. He is incorrect. The remote is the OEM original remote that came with the TV. The buyer claims that he keeps getting TVs that have this same remote...however, he is the one who is wrong and now is asking for a refund. When I offered to split the difference(even though I sold him exactly what was on the listing), he is giving me a bad rating. eBay is literally zero help and won't send me anything other than an automated response. If they were to look at the details from this buyer who has only been on eBay for less than a month, they would see that this person doesn't understand how this works. He is either purposely scamming people, is of very, very low intelligence or he is senile. Doesn't really matter to me what....but as a seller, when you make a listing and do everything according to the letter, how can the seller get punished? Nothing to the buyer who made the mistake, even though I offered to refund? Very frustrated with eBay and the process right now.
