How to contact technical support for the website
Seems the search capabilities DO NOT FUNCTION as before. For example, if I wanted to look for any hard drive that is 7200rpm and Sata III - - I would select those items and it would narrow the search. I could then cut out really small or really large drives from the search if I wanted. Now, I get a blank page as response or have to select a specific size ONLY (one at a time). Why did they do that????!!!!
Is there an email address or phone number I can call to get to website technical support?

Mentor2 years agoAre you searching using keywords, or just browsing a category?
If you start with keywords you may have more options. If you are using a desktop browser, you should have the option to use the size filter to select many sizes:

Use the "Feedback" link in the lower right corner of the search results page to alert page developers to problems with a site feature on the page.

OP2 years agoI have been an Ebay member for over 20 years so, yes that is how it "used to work". But apparently not anymore. Also, even following your link it returned SAS drives in the search results even though Sata III was selected and there are multiple SAS options in the same selection window. So is @#$%@#$%
For some reason I didn't see the Feedback button on the right of the screen (although on my 50" plasma TV it shows about half way down the screen) LOL. So thanks for that. It also included sizes in the results that I did NOT SELECT! Even using keyword of "external hard drive" or "internal hard drive", it would return some of the opposite type. They shouldn't have broken what wasn't broke! I am also a former Microsoft Premier Field engineer and something happened in the programming.

If there were SAS drives in those search results that is because those sellers included the SATA III item-specific in the listing, whether on purpose or by mistake.
eBay's search can only work with the data it is given. If sellers include the wrong item-specifics, those listings will appear in searches using those filter options. Just like if a seller lists in the wrong category, you will see that item when browsing that category, or if a seller puts the wrong keyword in an item title you may find that item listing when searching by keyword.
