How to contact Ebay - AI keeps running me in circles

Question

I seem to be stuck in a catch 22 with an Ebay issue and would like to TALK to an actual person.

When I get the AI chat dude he puts me "in the CHAT queue" promising it will only take "1 minute", but an hour later I am still in the queue.

All avenues I can find lead me back to the "CHAT queue".

Is there any way to Email Ebay or leave a request for a phone back ?

The problem is you are currently logged into ebay's U.S. based site www.ebay.com Since you are located in Australia, you need to log off this site and login to your home site, www.ebay.com.au then use the Contact Us button under the Help & Contact header at the bottom of an ebay page. The U.S. based chat/call center cannot reply to foreign members.
