We tried to reach you, but we were not able to connect at the phone number on file. This can happen if:
The call was not answered or went to voicemail
The call reached a busy signal
The number is wrong or disconnected
eBay Customer Service calls are blocked on your device
Spam filters on your device blocked the call
Please check your phone settings to make sure calls from unknown numbers are not being blocked. If you need to, you can also contact your mobile carrier for help.

OP2 weeks agomy question, how to speak with a live agent at ebay as their callback feature repeatedly claims they cannot contact me although my number hasn't changed in 25 years. My stupid issue, buyer requested I hold items for a 1 time shipment, which we shipped together as per the buyer and ebay dinged me for late shipping. How can I speak with someone without the endless loops of auto AI comments?

Even though you shipped late at the buyer's request, eBay won't remove the late shipping mark.
You can always ask right here to get an answer for many questions. Just start a new topic with a specific title so that we can provide advice and solutions.

There is no incoming phone number for buyers or sellers. If you want a call back from eBay Customer Service, here is how to get a call:
Start here: https://www.ebay.com/help/home
Find a page similar to your question
Scroll to the Bottom of the page similar to your question
1) Click "Contact Us" or the ? then select choices until you see
2) Chat with our automated assistant (to the left), click that
In the CHAT WINDOW
3) Type "Agent"
4) Click Your topic
5) You may need to click "Something Else" or "More Options" or type "Agent" a few more times
6) Click “Have Us Call You” (or "Chat with an Agent")
-- If you use a call filter on your phone, turn it off temporarily, or it might block the incoming call.
Customer service is open from 5am to 9pm Pacific Time
