how to contact a human to speak to that is in the united states and can speak clearly

hello

I've been searching for a phone number to call eBay, and I go around and round to more and more prompts to select the problems, etc. this is so frustrating. I don't want to speak to AI and I sure don't need someone calling from another country and trying to explain things that make not a bit of sense. they will try to help but its is consistently wrong. anyone have an idea of a phone number to get through to humans? How are people supposed to get help when its so difficult? I am now starting to actively search for another platform.

Sorry, eBay doesn't have an avenue for you to specify the characteristics of the person you want to speak with. They also don't have a customer service number, though you can request a callback from an agent through the chatbox on the help page that best describes the subject you need help with. (There's a Help link at the top of any eBay page.)

Your best bet is to ask the question you need answered right here on this board so that an experienced mentor can advise.
