How to close a local pickup without buyers 6 digit code

Question

I sold an item, the customer picked it up, I was paid and my account credited. At the time of the sale I did not know that the customer would receive a 6 digit code via email that would be essential for closing this transaction. I emailed the buyer asking for the code but they probably rarely go out onto ebay unless they need a something so have not replied. So this transaction on my end is still hanging out there in my orders and I have no way to close it. Will this eventually just go away?

You're correct, the Mark as Picked Up/Shipped options are gone for Local Pickup orders as of a few months ago if I remember correctly. The only option you have now is to Archive the order (the last option in the list you posted).

@modern4sale1 In your sold orders, select mark as shipped next to to that item. Not quite as good as the code, but it will stop you from getting reminders to arrange pick up.
