How to charge for a second shipping label?

Hey!I got a return to sender from a buyer because the didnâ€™t list their APT number. I screenshot the label I bought through eBay and they admitted the were incorrect. I now need to create a second label to send to them. How do I charge for it?

Hi @bolt_treasures

The Buyer loses their eBay Money Back Guarantee on a Return to sender shipment. You can refund the item price but NOT the original shipping, that was spent on the round trip shipment.

Relist the item after refunding and message the Buyer with the new eBay item number and let them know if they want to purchase it again they can do so. Trying to get paid for a label outside eBay means you are giving out your personal information which for myself I do NOT recommend.

There are 2 options

1) Refund the first order, excluding shipping. Then relist and have the buyer purchase the item again and pay shipping again using the complete address at checkout.

OR

2) Send the buyer a paypal invoice for the 2nd shipping label. In this circumstance you can use an off-eBay payment to do this since there is no way on eBay .
