Follow these instructions to retract your counter offer:
If you have made a counter offer on an item, go to the item.
"Make Offer" should be available even though you have a green banner stating your counter offer.
Click make offer and put an arbitrary price, I offered $1.
This will override your counter offer, and original price, and enable you to retract your new offer.
Retract your offer will be available now, Retract your offer.
