How to cancel an order after I accepted Make an Offer
I took a Make an Offer now buyer wants to cancel.
I told him he has to cancel on his end
He wants me to cancel but I can't figure out how to do that from my end.
I have been selling on eBay for over 20+ years
Any suggestions?

Mentor7 months agoA buyer can only ask for a cancellation. You as the seller need to actually cancel the purchase. So fine the purchase in your sold list and from the drop down menu next to the item click on "Cancel". Use the reason "At buyers request".

That is exactly what I told the buyer
Do you remember that eBay changed the rules that until an item is paid for ANYONE can buy it?
So this item is not in the SOLD /Orders list. It is still in the 'active' list and also in the 'pending' list saying 'awaiting payment'.
So it is in a 'limbo' state unless he pays for it and then I cancel it or someone else buys it.
I just asked him again to pay for it and I would immediately cancel it ---but he hasn't responded.
He only has a 9 for feedback so that says something.
I do not know why he won't do what I ask.
Any other suggestions?
If not I will have to reach out to eBay.
