How to cancel a listing for non-payment

I have a buyer who has not paid for an item. This is my first nonpayment and I am confused on how to cancel so I can re-list the item. I assumed it would be a fairly easy process (and maybe it is) but I am just not seeing it. I have done my do diligence, I have waited five days, EBay has sent messages, I have sent one message to no avail. So, I ask, can I just delete the listing and re-list? Is it that simple, and am I overthinking thinking this?

Cancel the transaction for nonpayment. Your final value fee will be credited and you can relist.
