How to calculate shipping for two boxes for one order
I have an antique car jack and handle that I want to list on eBay. I need to ship it in two boxes due to its size.
One box's dimensions are 38"x16"x3" and it weighs 7 lbs.
The other box's dimensions are 19"x7"x7" and it weighs 15 lbs.
How do I calculate the shipping cost of both boxes? I can enter information on just one shipping box; no provision for entering a second.
It would be impractical to combine them into one box because of the weight and size.
Thank you for any insight.

It is possible to do this, but it is a bit of a challenge to set the correct shipping.
As you know, the in-listing shipping calculator only works for 1 box. Here is a workaround that may be helpful. Do both steps.
1) Use "buyer pays calculated shipping" and enter the details about the larger/heavier box.
And
2) Use eBay's shipping calculator to estimate shipping for the lighter/smaller box to a far-from-you place.
- Add the shipping amount for the lighter/smaller box to your selling price or in the "handling charge" field.

-- Here is eBay's shipping calculator - it will show the actual shipping cost for all 3 services from your zip to New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles (and any other zip code you want)

Just pick "Package", enter the weight, dimensions, and your zip code. Then click "Calculate Shipping".
Click the “eBay Rates†radio button to see the cost if you print your label at home.

When you ship your item, here is how to print multiple labels for 1 order:
Enter the weight and dimensions for Box 1 and print the first label,
THEN you can print another label -
1) Go to the order https://www.ebay.com/mys/sold
2) Select View Order Details, then Print Another Label <<==
3) Enter the correct weight and dimensions for your 2nd box and select Shipping Method and the correct label will print.
