how to add tracking number

Question

I had a delay in mailing out item to customer, told them I would making it up to them by paying for expedited out of my pocket. Mailed today and have tracking number to provide but where can I add it?

-- You should add the tracking number that was used when you shipped your item so you have eBay seller protection, and can get paid.

The tracking number will be printed on the receipt (USPS tracking number is usually a 22-digit number)

- Go to the Sold section of My eBay. https://www.ebay.com/mys/sold

- From More actions, select Add tracking number.

- Add, edit or delete the tracking number and the carrier.

- Select Submit.
