how to add my cost to already sold items

I just found out how to add my cost to current listings, but I am unable to find where to add my cost to SOLD items. I have been using the custom field to list my cost, but google searches lead me to believe I can add that cost in a "my cost" field even after an item has sold, but I can't find the field anywhere.

@gotstu81 You cannot edit a sold item unless it is still active, such as when you have a quantity of more that 1 and still have 1 or more to sell.
