how to add motor freight shipping and crating charges to listing
I cannot locate the place on my eBay listing to add add motor freight shipping and crating charges to the listing. The charges have been approved by the buyer, but I see no menu for adding these charges on the listing. And the robot assistnat is of no help.

Keep in mind that a no returns policy does NOT mean no refunds so if the buyer SAYS that the item is not as described then YOU pay the very expensive freight shipping back. Don't use Fed Ex freight as they will bill you more later.
Be aware that the item is probably going to need to be crated too and possibly placed on a pallet which is an extra expense.
I do not recommend using Freight shipping because if the item is late arriving or damaged in shipping then you have to refund the buyer. Or if the buyer files a return request stating that the item is not as described you have to pay the very expensive freight shipping if you want the item back before issuing a refund. A no return policy does not mean no refunds, your return policy is only for buyers remorse returns.
I would just list as local pick up only. Then in the description state the buyer can arrange their own freight pick up. This way you are not responsible for items lost/ late or damaged in shipping.
Here's how to list with local pick up:
How you select Local pick up only depends on which listing tool you are using.
1. Quick Listing Tool:
If the listing tool you are using has a Gear symbol in the upper right corner then you are using the Quick Listing Tool.
To select Local Pick Up only on the Quick Listing Tool you do NOT check the ship your item box and then scroll down and select more options then check Local Pick Up in the shipping section.

2. If you are using the Advanced Listing Tool in Seller Hub on a computer section and select Local Pick Up only from the first drop down box.
If you have a shipping option showing then you need to click on the 3 dots in the box and delete it.
The second Local Pick Option at the bottom of the listing tool is only to be used if you want to offer shipping AND local Pick Up.
When the buyer or their shipping company picks up the item be sure to ask for the QR code to scan or enter the 6 digit code into the app:
Go to the sold listing on the eBay cellphone app and select Arrange pick up. Then you scan the QR code or enter the 6 digit code that the buyer receives when they pay for the item at checkout.
The QR code is your proof of delivery and helps get your funds released sooner and is your proof of delivery for item not received refund requests.

OP8 months agoI canceled the original listing and entered a completely new listing with the freight charges added to the price for a specific buyer. The buyer now informs he he cannot complete the purchase because eBay sent him a message "The item you selected can't be purchased because the seller has not specified the shipping fees. Contact the seller for assistance." When I made the second listing, the item was listed as a "Buy It Now" price, which included the freight fees. I see that eBay has changed it to an "Item price" listing, with no indicating on the listing page how to indicate otherwise. Not even a Free Shipping category appears as a possible listing selection. So how do I complete this transaction. My buyer is waiting to pay for this item.
