how to add handling cost to order
I have some items that require extra care for shipping special boxes and extra packing can i add that to shipping charge

Mentor5 months agoAlthough you can add a handling charge please be aware that it will show as a separate charge on the listing in the shipping section. Many buyers do not like handling charges and will pass your listing by. Best to just add the extra amount into the item price.

You may be thinking of the Handling time that is displayed on the listing.
A handling cost is automatically added to the shipping cost displayed to the buyer. The buyer cannot see that amount as a separate charge.

Yes, you can add a handling cost that will be added into the shipping cost shown to the buyer.

Thank you for the insight. I have used eBay for a couple of years & have not seen the option to add the handling charge. I did stumble upon it while preparing one of my latest listings.
