How should we handle a scammer?
Recently a buyer purchased a football card from my 12 year old son, who runs our ebay store. The buyer contacted us and said he never received the card (even though we had the recepit confirmation). In good faith and to keep our perfect ebay rating, we issued a credit. The next day the buyer posted our item for sale in his store. Of course he ghosted us when we reached out. We filed a claim with ebay and have not heard back directly and when we try to research it, it says "claim resolved and cannot be appealed."
Should we just bite the bullet and move on? or do we have any recourse? I'm trying to teach my son right from wrong and this just isn't sitting right, regardless of the cost of the card (which wasn't cheap).
Thanks.. appreciate the help.

Mentor5 months agoA 12 year old should not be managing your Ebay store.
Move on and take charge of your Ebay store.
If the buyer filed a Refund Request due to item not received, all YOU needed to do was respond to the request with the tracking number & tracking information that proves delivery to the buyer's shipping address.
