How quickly is ebay firing all customer support
I used to have a page where Ebay would call you back, for some difficult issues and now they managed to get rid of their page, so to reduce ( i.e. : fire) the number of customer supports to help you out.
What is the final objective of those companies? Run with zero operators? They must be making millions, unless people give up as their customer service does not exist ,ergo the company has become a major piece of GARBAGE.
Has anyone any idea, on how to speak to any human or there is none left in there?

Here’s my actual problem: I listed an item for over one year with no results.
As per Murphy's law, it sells the day I land in Europe on holiday ( I forgot the vacation mode, together with the valve gas open in the house)
I immediately messaged the buyer, apologized, gave a ship date, and offered a refund. He never replied.
Meanwhile eBay already released the funds to my bank, and the system won’t do anything, unless the buyer answers.
The callback page I used for years is gone. The bot doesn’t escalate. I don’t get the “agent” or “more options” paths you mentioned. It just loops.
So I’m stuck: buyer silent, money released, no way to cancel, and no way to talk to a humans, as they must get fired to save costs.
That’s the whole issue. I appreciate you guys trying to help

Mentor4 months ago@mia_bella_bargains Here are your choices, talking to agent won't change anything.
#1 Ship when you get back. You will get a late shipment ding on your account but it won't hurt it too much.
#2 IF the buyer files a not received refund request or asks for a refund then you of course refund right away.
#3 Cancel as out of stock. You receive a DEFECT on your account. I would go with options one and two first to avoid the defect.
EDIT TO ADD: You do have the buyers phone number in the order details and could send them a text message. Buyers don't always check their eBay messages but they do check their text messages. Select view order details next to the item on this page> https://www.ebay.com/sh/ord/?filter=status:ALL_ORDERS
Next screen select show contact info on the far right.

You may be better off asking your question here to get suggestions from experienced users.
To contact eBay, use the chat assistant that you reach from the Help & Contact page to request a chat with an agent or a call back.
What options you see may depend on your particular issue and how busy that department is at the moment.
Try entering "agent" into the chat window. You may have to provide some context to reach the correct department. If you see a "Still need help?" or "More options" choice, either of those should lead to a call back option.
You can also try contacting eBay via social media direct message:

OP4 months agoThansk for this.
However the callback option is exactly what brought me here. That doesn’t anymore. It used to. It’s gone, so as they process firing customer support.
The bot doesn’t escalate, it gives me “more options,” which are just controlled loops. So telling me to type AGENT ( which I did , does not help on that dumb Gemini version they bought from Bill Gates) .
Good call on the instagram. We used to reach out and get problem addressed 1-2-1 and now they prefer being exposed to their own shamed... globally.
