None of the supposed ebay phone numbers you find on line will connect you to anyone associated with ebay in any way. There is a way to get a call back from ebay's customer service, but they are not set up to help people with tech issues.
Have you tried deleting the app from your device then reloading it? Try that first, if you use an older device it may not work with the newest version of the app.
Do a Google search for: "Requirements for ebay's 2025 app update".
The A.I. article explains what operating systems are needed for the latest version of the app.
You can always use your device's browser to login to ebay the classic way with your username and password, until you sort out the problem.
