How many days does a seller get a grace period for to ship out.

You set your Handling time on your listings. If you get a carrier acceptance scan AFTER your Handling time expires you can get a Late shipping defect. If your Handling time is 3 days and you ship on day 4 ... not good. Hope that helps.

Each eBay seller is allowed to set his/her own shipping period.
On eBay, "timely" simply means that the seller has shipped within his/her own stated shipping period.
You might be able to see that shipping period in the listing itself.
