How long to wait before requesting a refund

Question

Purchased an item 9/18 shipping label created by seller at Fed Ex on 9-19. No update on shipping status from Fed Ex , waiting product. Tried to contact seller X2 no response. Estimated delivery 9/23 to 9/29. How long do I wait before requesting refund? PayPal purchase.

If the seller was working with you to resolve the issue, I'd say wait a little longer. But since that is not the case, I would file the INR [item not received] case right away in order to protect you and your money. I am sorry that the seller did not respond, they certainly should have and they should have been working with the carrier to resolve the issue. Most sellers would do that as you are a valuable customer.
