How long is a UPS label good for? (bought thru eBay)
I have a buyer, already paid, who has implied that he might want me to hold off on shipping for possibly a month. I have yet to hear back from him, but I would like to buy the label now so I can get paid from eBay and I don't want to end up with an expired label. Hate trying to get through to a human at UPS or eBay.
Shipping labels are only good on the date specified. Sometimes the USPS allows an extra day or two if over a weekend but I doubt UPS will do this. Your problem will be that once the buyer has paid your handling time starts ticking. If you do not ship within that time you will receive a defect on your account. You should cancel the purchase and refund the buyer. Then have them repurchase the item when they are ready to take delivery.

OP1 year agoOK. Thanks. I got it straightened out with the buyer so it's kind of moot now, but I will delve further into this so I will be prepared next time.
