How long does it take to get a refund after cancelling the purchase?

Hello, I purchased some iPads on eBay. I cancelled the order just a minute after placing it; however, the system charged $195.68 to my card. I subsequently received an email from eBay stating that the order was cancelled and I would not be charged, but—as I mentioned—the charge did go through, and three days have passed without the money being returned to my account. Please, I would like a refund, or—failing that—could you tell me how long it takes for the money to be returned to my credit card?

@alvarorodrigu-37 Keep in mind when shopping that buyers can only REQUEST to cancel, the seller can accept or decline so be sure you want an item before you commit to the purchase.
