How Long Does it Take to Deliver Something from U.S. to Mexico?
Hello Community,
I sold a collection pocket knife to a buyer in Mexico over a month ago from the U.S. The buyer has paid for customs tax about 3 weeks ago but still has not received the item. What do I do here? Now my fund is on hold because the buyer opened a ticket.

Mentor2 weeks ago@tongyu_guo Was it shipped with the eBay International Shipping Program OR did the buyer use a package forwarding company?
What is the item number? I looked at a few of your knife sold listings and none appear to have EIS.
How you handle this depends on EXACTLY how it was shipped by you and to what location. If the buyer reshipped the item themselves using a US forwarding company that voids the eBay Money Back Guarantee.

OP2 weeks agoIt was shipped with eBay International Shipping Program. Thank you for the information! I am new to this and that was the only knife I sold aboard. Buyer would like to have the item instead of getting a refund, and hopefully it will be there soon. I guess it is just taking a while to go through customs.

Mentor2 weeks agoIf you used Ebay's International Shipping (EIS), and tracking confirmed it reached the forwarding hub, there is nothing more you need to do and you are protected. Buyer will now have to wait for ebay's response and possible refund.
Your payment is not being held due to this and is likely is because you are a newer seller. This hold time will be reduced and removed as you keep a good record on ebay.

OP2 weeks agoI dropped it off at USPS to Ebay, Ebay transferred it to DHL, and DHL transferred it to MailAmericas. I have the tracking for all three, and it shows it is still at customs, after the customer has paid the customs...
