How long does it take for seller to refund?

Hello,I have made purchased after my bidding and paid the seller right. Next day seller informed he no longer has the item and will refundme right away and this was purchased Sept 15th. I head reach out to seller but keeping saying I will asap but so far nothing. How does it takes refund and now its going Sept 23rd. I have been patient and feel like I'm being taking advantage. Please let me know what to do orI ask Ebay to step in. Thank you for your time.

Yes. Please open an Item Not Received refund request on eBay. The Seller will have three business days to respond. If they don't respond, you need to wait until the 4th day after you opened the request to ask eBay to step in.

Either the Seller is stringing you along or they don't know how eBay works.

Be sure to go to that transaction in your Purchase History and open an Item Not Received refund request. I would do that today.

The Seller will have three business days to respond with either a valid tracking number showing it's in transit or a full refund. If they don't, on the 4th day go back to your request and ask eBay to step in and force the refund.

Don't let the Seller convince you to close your request.

But you need to open that refund request on eBay to start the refund process.
