how long does a identity verification take?
Summary: ty103522 is experiencing a delay with their funds being released due to ongoing identity verification by a platform, despite having submitted the necessary information two weeks ago. They are seeking advice on how to get in touch with a customer service representative for a resolution. fashionsandbeauty4u suggests that this delay is normal for new accounts with limited sales history and recommends contacting the platform via Instagram. comics-scifi-collectibles advises verifying personal account information to ensure it matches official documents and provides a guide for contacting customer service through a specific procedure.
i have sold a pokemon card and he received it and my funds are “available” but they have my pay out on hold because they are still verifying my identity even though i submitted all my information 2 weeks ago. on top of this it says on my dash that u have unresolved issues but when i check my messages i have already completed everything. i really just want to speak with a customer service representative, is there any short cut to me requesting a call back? i just want to speak with a realmperson

Mentor3 weeks ago@ty103522 In addition to the new seller fund hold that @fashionsandbeauty4u mentioned you need to make sure that all of your info is correct.
You will need to contact eBay customer service for assistance from #3
However I recommend checking a few things as eBay will NOT tell you what doesn't match for security reasons.
1. Verify that the name and address on your eBay account matches your brick and mortar checking account and government ID EXACTLY. I had to had my middle name to my eBay account so it would match my checking account and drivers license.
You will need to provide your SS#. You can not use a PO box for your registration address as seller but you can use it for your ship from and to addresses.
2. Make sure the ACH routing number is the correct one to use for these type of deposits. Verify this with your bank.
3. Contact Customer service

Then Type Verify Checking account in the chat bot box on the lower right. (Do not add any additional information)
Then AGENT after the bot responds. You might have to repeat those steps.

Because this is a new account and you have no active listings and have only sold one item very recently for $4100, those funds will be held for awhile. Approximately 30 days or more. That is absolutely normal based on all those circumstances.
You can request a call back from eBay over the weekend. Or wait until Monday to message eBay on their Instagram page. I would recommend Instagram.
