How is this possible?
I am a 8+ years seller here on ebay and I have been dealing with scammers and people using someone account with the intention to do fraud
I sold 1 item on August 16 and on August 19 the buyer send a message asking to cancel the order but I did not see any messages on the ebay app asking to cancel the order I found it on my email but at that time I had already shipped the item I called ebay and I was told that a buyer can request to cancel an order within 2 days of purchasing and paying for the item and the ebay representative said your account says that you don't accept returns, I know that as a seller is my obligation to accept the return and refund the buyer only if the item is not as described or defective or damage, I told the buyer that I will accept the return but she have to pay for the return label but she insisted that I have to pay for the return label and refund the full amount paid I call ebay again and I was told that it was my choice to accept or decline the refund and I told the representative to make a note where it says that I will accept the return but seller has to pay for the return label since the buyer insisted that I should pay for the return label I decline the return and the case was close on my favor I got a message from the buyer telling me that I will have to pay for the return label and refund her the full amount I blocked the buyer a few hours later I saw an email telling me thar the buyer open a return case but not to worry ebay will contact me within 48 hours in less the 6 hours ebay refunded the full amount and she had not return my item? Is this right I don't think so this kid of people ends getting a full amount refunded and stealing the seller items and EBAY IS HELPING CRIMINALS TO DO THIS

Was the reason that the buyer specified for the return request covered by Ebay's Money Back Guarantee?
If so, and you refused to accept the return request, Ebay was able to step in and help the buyer get their refund.
Ebay's Money Back Guarantee overrides sellers' "no returns" policy.
