How is eBay able to hold my money. Off my sold items. Double dipp on shipping fees. Then get to keep
Why is it when something gets bought on eBay.even tho the buyer paid for shipping, why does the seller have to pay shipping also fees and for a label.thought shipping fees accounted for everything.how does ebay get away with all this .buyer and seller both pay ebay to shipp an item.than again if the item is returned, shouldn't ebay be partly liable for shipping costs .took in a way.why shud they be able to pocket money from either transaction and make us pay it all again. Is it just me? Are there some more hidden hard to find settings I'm unaware about

Ebay has had a rule for many years that pertains to New Seller and sellers that have been away from selling for 90+ days. The following is the policy that outlines why you money is likely on hold.

This is a duplicate post however worded a bit differently. I responded to your other post.
The buyer paid you for shipping. You received that money for the shipping but you think Ebay should pay for the actual shipping of the package? That seem how it should work to you? Why?
Example:
$5 Buyer pays the seller for shipping.
<$4.50 > The amount the seller paid for shipping.
0.50 Balance
And yes, Ebay charges the FVF on the total amount of money that is processed from the buyer. Have you taken any time with the Seller Fee Policy so you can better understand this process?
