How ebay marks an item as shipped
I am complaining about the methodology that Ebay uses to mark an item shipped. It uses the label created date as the shipping date. That means the clock for returns starts ticking at that time. Right now I am awaiting an item that has been marked shipped that has a return window of 30 days. However, the item has not moved for a week. I think that Ebay should not classify an item as shipped until it actually starts to move. "In transit" would be a better choice to be used as a shipping date because the item has been handed to a shipper at that point and is moving along. Right now an item I puchased with a 30 day return window has been sitting for a week with a label and no movement. In the meantime I have contacted the seller. I am unable to figure out how to contact Ebay via email regarding this issue. How do I do that? Does anyone else think the same way I do?
