How does eBay insure protection of the seller on high dollar items?
Been selling on here for 8 years have 3 stores and about 7k items listed but never any single items this high. I have a bridal set with appraisal of $31,500 for set. I was going to list in the range of $12-16K. Does something like this go through authentic guarantee?

Mentor2 years ago@123sportzntoyz By bridal set do you mean rings? If so then the answer is yes, it would be authenticated>

I would also recommend using Buy It Now with Immediate payment required and if you use the Best Offer option to check the box in account settings to require buyers to provide a payment method prior to making an offer, this way they are charged as soon as you accept the offer.

Mentor2 years ago@123sportzntoyz. Then yes it would be authenticated. You would need to ship it to the Authenticity center with signature on delivery since the sale is over $750. If you wish to insure the rings on the way to the Authenticity center you'll need to buy the shipping label from USPS but be sure to add the # that ties the transaction to you and the buyer. You can only buy insurance for up to 5k from eBay.
