How does eBay deal with stolen property?
I am wondering how eBay responds to known instances of stolen goods that are placed on the site for sale?
The following is an example of a stolen jacket that is being offered for sale on eBay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/285514238597?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=4kVzsvfhTpe&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=slaNnHDKTLy&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=EMAIL
I head up the Mountain Host program at Big Sky Resort and I can say with absolute certainty that the above listing is for a stolen jacket. We do not sell these and members of the Mountain Host organization turn them in at the end of each season. As such, the jacket being listed for sale was definitely stolen.
In short, I am wondering what eBay is going to do about this? Hit me up @snowphishphan and let me know how this is being handled.
