Can someone please tell me how do you know what the Buy Now price is on items?

Not every listing has a "buy it now" price; some items are auctions which can only be bid on, and the high bidder at the end of the auction wins the item.
If there is a "buy it now" option on an active listing, it should be clear what the price is.
