How do you improve your seller performance ?
Summary: plato174 expressed frustration with eBay's restrictions that prevent them from improving seller performance. They mentioned that reactivating inactive listings or revising active listings counts as new listings, hindering sales improvements. As a long-time seller since 1999, they are considering using other platforms due to these challenges, suggesting that such strategies could harm eBay's business.
I am wondering how in the world EBay expects you to improve your seller performance once your put on restriction when your current listed items go inactive and to reactivate them it counts as a new listing when it should be a relist so you can’t sell the item to make an improvement. As well as if I have an active item and I want to revise it to lower the price I can’t because that counts as a new listing as well. Makes no sense. They are forcing me to use other platforms to sell my stuff after being a seller since 1999. Ebay is the one losing the profits. That type of strategy will eventually put you out of business.
