How do you get ebay to step in for a refund?
Summary: bearandsheba is frustrated with a seller who refuses to accept a return for a defective hand vacuum purchased online. I have been online with the fake person and she keeps sending me in circles. I ordered a hand vac. I contacted the seller when the item never worked. It is defective. The seller has been contacted numerous times and she refuses to budge. She won't accept the item back when I offered to send it. She then said for me to take a picture to prove it doesn't work???? How do you do that. I charged it and push the button and nothing happens. It was almost $50 and that is too much to throw away to a person trying to survive on social security.

Ebay has a 30-day Money Back Guarantee for Buyer Purchase Protection. If you received something that is not as shown in the listing and it was delivered 30 days or less ago, you can open an Item Not as Described return request on eBay.
The Seller is required to respond within three business days with either a prepaid return label or a refund. If they don't, on the 4th day go back to your request and ask eBay to step in and force the refund.
Don't let the Seller convince you to close your request.
But you need to open that request on eBay to start the refund process.
