How do you get $ back when item is counterfeit

Question

How do you get your money back? I proved it was counterfeit with photos of original v theirs. They said I could return if unopened, or original condition. I am not paying to send it to Great Britain for them to rescam. eBay did remove the item from their listings, but didn’t help me.

All you have to do is go to your purchase history click on More actions for the listing. Select Return this item, from the list of reasons for the return that opens, choose Didn't match Description and file the dispute. It does not matter if the seller has a no return policy they will have 3 days to either send you a return shipping label (since theyr are located in the U.K. they may have to request a return shipping cost estimate so they can send you the funds you will need to buy a return shipping label. Or issue a full refund if they do not want to pay the return shipping cost. They will have 3 days to request a return cost, or refund you. If they do none of those things on day for open the dispute and click on the Ask ebay to step in, button. You will be issued a refund from the seller's account and can keep the item. I am sorry that happened!

You should open a Return Request. The reason could be "Different from what I ordered > Didn't Match Description" if the item you got was not what was shown and described ( ie, it was counterfeit)

If the seller doesn't provide a refund or a valid return label after 3 full business days; you will be able to Ask eBay to Step In

If the seller is in UK, they can't buy a return label, but they can send money to you through paypal so you can buy a label.

At this point, talk to Customer Service, they may waive the requirement for you to return the item, since it's counterfeit.

Do not close your return request until you either have your refund in hand or you have the replacement item. Do not close it because the seller promises you something.
